Week 17: Deducing Conclusions with Provided Data

Ultimately, as scientific researchers, we want to promote our research to the world as a whole, thereby giving our hard work the value and credit it deserves. The most important aspect of a presentation is that our key results and aims are summarised as clearly as possible, so that the audience - whoever they may be - are in no doubt as to our conclusions. Giving effective conclusions is a skill to be worked on as your career progresses. In the first week, we will look at ways of expressing results and conclusions in a clear, concise and considered way, as well as how to emphasize your key ideas throughout your presentation.
