Week 11: Describing graphs and charts

For audience who are not specialists in your field, the most difficult aspect of understanding your presentation is to make sense of the many quantitative data sets and figure out how they should be interpreted. To minimize the audiencefs load, you first have to select the proper type of data representation - such as various forms of graphs and charts. Choosing an appropriate data visualization method has an enormous effect on helping the audience to understand the nature of the result to be presented. We will also examine how to explain graphs and charts, so that the audience can fully comprehend the data that you generated, and appreciate the result that you wish to appeal.
