６．履修条件、受講方法：
総研大生はみな受講できる。履修者は、科目責任者または講師Todd Gormanに連絡すること
７．授業内容の概要：
英語を母国語とする講師による対話式演習により、科学研究における様々な場面で必要な英語会話の技術を習得する。
８．授業の達成目標：
I-Vまでの演習シリーズの通年の受講により段階的に高度な内容を学習し、最終的に研究者として必要な英語のヒアリングと会話の能力を習得し、その技術によって、国際学会での発表と討論が可能なレベルの能力の達成を目標とする。

Students will learn spoken English skills required for various scientific situations with an English instructor.
８．Course objectives:
The ultimate goal of this course is to develop the skills to effectively discuss and present scientific materials in English. To achieve this goal, students will learn more advanced materials and methods by enrolling in each course of the series.
