６．履修条件、受講方法：
履修者は本演習で行われるTOEFLテストを受験すること。
７．授業内容の概要：
英語を母国語とする外部講師による対話式演習により、科学研究における様々な場面で必要な英語会話の技術を習得する。
８．授業の達成目標：
I-Vまでの演習シリーズの通年の受講により段階的に高度な内容を学習し、最終的に研究者として必要な英語のヒアリングと会話の能力を習得し、その技術によって、国際学会での発表と討論が可能なレベルの能力の達成を目標とする。
９．授業計画：
レベル別少人数クラス編成で英語会話の実践的指導をおこなう。

日程 内容 ４月下旬（未定） TOEFL ITPテストの実施。英語能力の客観的指標とする。 ４月下旬〜５月上旬 講師による個別面接の実施、個々の英語会話能力のレベルを決定する。 5月 中旬〜 ２時間の演習を計29回実施する。

６．Prerequisites and Styles：
No prerequisites for SOKENDAI students. E-mail to the above contact person by April 12th. Students are required to take a TOEFL in the course.
７．Contents:
An interactive seminar on spoken English instructed by native English speakers. Students will practice verbal communication in English in a small group.
８．Course objectives:
The ultimate goal of this course is to develop the skills to effectively discuss and present scientific materials in English. To achieve this goal, students will learn more advanced materials and methods year by year through taking the series of the courses.
