セミナーは日本語で行われる場合もあるので，この場合には日本語の理解能力が必要となる。７．授業内容の概要：
Biological Symposiumは遺伝学専攻以外の研究者による生命科学のセミナーであり、一方内部交流セミナーは、国立遺伝学研究所の研究者によるセミナーである。遺伝学研究集会は、研究所内外の複数の研究者による集会である。どのセミナーも，生命科学の最先端の高度な研究や研究に必要な知識の紹介がなされる。８．授業の達成目標：
講演 その内容で理解できない部分に対して質問でき、講演者と科学的議論を展開できるか こと。９．授業計画：（対面講義）
セミナーは不定期のため，特になし（各セミナーの詳細が国立遺伝学研究所のホームページに掲載され，電子メールでも通知される）10．使用参考書、参考文献：特になし
11．単位修得要件と成績評価基準：
Biological Symposium、遺伝学研究集会、内部交流セミナーから合計８回以上を選択して受講し、レポートを提出する。出席とレポートで評価する。８回以上 出席し， レポート（どれか１回以上のセミナーで質問した内容と講師の答え，およびそれに対する感想を記入する）を提出する。出席率とレポート内容から「A,B,C,D」の判定を受け，成績がA、B,Cの場合は１単位取得できる12．その他のコメント：特になし

Some seminars are given in Japanese, and in this case Japanese language ability is required.７．Contents:
Biological symposia are given by scientists not belonging to National Institute of Genetics, while NIG colloquiums are given by NIG scientists. Speakers of NIG workshops are mixture. Front-line research results and knowledge necessary to conduct studies are given i n all three types of seminars.８．Course objectives:
To question to speakers on part of seminar one could not understand, and to become able to have scientific discussion with speakers.９．Schedule: (Oral)

None11．Grades:
Select 8 or more lectures from "Biological Symposium", "NIG workshop", and " NIG colloquium", and hear these lectures. After that student should submit report (content of question one asked to speaker at least once, reply from speaker, and one 's opinion). Grades (A, B, C, D) will be determined based on submission of report and frequency of attendance (attendance to 8 or more lectures is required). Students get one credit, when you obtain grades (A,B,C).12．Notes：
