5.Place: (Face-to-face Lecture)NIG Library2F Seminar Room

6.Pre-requisite conditions:
It is desirable that the graduate students have the background of genetics and genome science. Lecture will be give on the face-to-face basis.

7.Outline:
In this lecture, it is a goal that the graduate students understand the diversity and evolution of organisms at the gene and genome levels. It will be achieved for the students to understand the molecular mechanisms and processes of the diversity and evolution of organisms. In particular, it is important for the students to understand how the research of environmental adaptation and speciation proceeds in.

8.Goals

  1. To understand the basic ideas of population genetics and molecular evolutionary studies.
  2. To understand methodologies of evolutionary genetics.
  3. To understand bioinformatics tools for conducting evolutionary genetics.
  4. To understand molecular mechanisms of environmental adaptation as one of important examples.
9.Time Plan:(Face-to-face lectures)
