Set 6: Critical Discussion I

Recognizing logical flaws, inconsistencies, or alternative explanations is arguably the most important skill for a scientist to master.  Without these skills, progress in any research is highly unlikely.  Such valuable critique comes not only from ourselves, but also from our peers who help us see things from a different angle.  This is an absolutely essential skill for all scientists, so this set will be the first of two where we hold critical discussions using real data to practice the skills in the most realistic manner.
