当研究室では、自己複製する細胞小器官である中心体の構築メカニズム、またその進化的起源に迫る研究を展開しています。 発生過程における中心体動態とその機能に関しての研究も進行中です。線虫初期胚、ヒト培養細胞をモデルとして、細胞生物学、 生化学、遺伝学的手法によりマクロな視点から中心体複製の分子機構を解析しています。さらに、電子顕微鏡による構造生物学的手法 と生物物理的手法を融合させ、ナノスケールでの中心体構築過程のシミュレーションも行っています。 目的（知りたい事）に応じて、戦略（解析方法）は柔軟に対応していく予定なので、バックグラウンドは特に問いませんが、 中心体関連の研究分野に興味を持ち、主体的に取り組んでいける方を歓迎いたします。 上記以外のプロジェクトもありますし、新しいアイデアの提案／議論も歓迎いたしますので、興味のある方は是非ご連絡ください。 We are interested in understanding the fundamental mechanisms of centrosome duplication and the evolutionary origin of centrosomes. We also investigate the dynamics and physiological role of centrosomes in the context of developmental processes using C. elegans as a model system. To tackle these questions, we are currently utilizing the combination of innovative and multi-disciplinary approaches including biophysics, biochemistry, structural biology, genetics and cell biology. We are currently looking for a highly motivated and skilled Postdoc. We welcome backgrounds in the life sciences.
