Shinji Ihara, Assistant Professor of Multicellular Organization Laboratory, received the 2012 Young Scientists' Prize from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan.
The Ministry has announced the recipients on April 17th (Japan time).
This prize is awarded to young Japanese scientists who conducted pioneering and original scientific works.
Shinji Ihara is awarded for his research on the molecular mechanisms about cell migration and invasion.
